Maryanne Kumiega

Realtor®

Born and raised in the Midwest, Maryanne Kumiega earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Purdue, worked in Chicago for a year, then made an important executive decision — to find warmer weather. She took to Scottsdale, Arizona, working in commercial, residential, and renewable energy development and construction. But the arc of her career path ultimately carried her to San Diego in 2013, and she couldn’t be happier.

Maryanne’s background is perfect for a real estate professional and includes project management, organization, urgent real estate and financial transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and, most importantly, understanding stakeholders’ needs during transactions. Through more than 20 years, she has developed a passion for real estate, land acquisition, and researching and tracking market trends. She understands the complexities of clearing title and overcoming permit, environmental, and structural challenges to find the perfect home for her clients.

Her personal and professional values are the same: She serves her clients with integrity, hard work, humor, empathy, tenacity, and humility. It’s all about understanding a client’s needs and solving the issues and constraints along the way. Her clients include first-time buyers, owners upgrading current homes, property owners looking to develop and entitled raw land, and seasoned investors.

In her spare time, Maryanne enjoys traveling with family and friends, wine tasting, hiking, fishing, boating, biking, and anything on or near the water. She’s grateful for everything San Diego has to offer for her family year-round.
